James Lakeman is an expert business leader with over three decades of experience in the glass-lined process industry. As the current President of Glasslined Technologies, Inc., James has driven continuous improvement and innovation, enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. His journey began at Augusta Technical College, where he earned an Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing Technology. James’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to initially found Southern Glasslined Equipment, Inc., which grew into a significant industry player under his leadership. He is recognized for his technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to advancing the industry while focusing on customer service and quality. Beyond his professional achievements, James is deeply committed to charitable work. He has served as President of Georgia Safari Club International (SCI) and National Director at SCI and has been involved in various humanitarian and veterans’ committees. His dedication to giving back to the community is evident in his long-term involvement with the Georgia SCI Wounded Vet Committee. James’s education at Augusta Tech was transformative and has created the foundation for his technical and business expertise.
