Peter Claus is a veteran technology executive with over 23 years of experience, known for leading transformative initiatives in aerospace, defense, and manufacturing. As Vice President and CIO at Textron Specialized Vehicles, Peter has been instrumental in defining the company’s technology strategy, including modernizing core systems and fostering community development through partnerships with local institutions. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Colorado State University and an Associate Degree from Augusta Technical College. He has also completed advanced executive leadership programs at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Peter is ITIL Foundation and COBIT certified, fluent in English and German, and eligible to work in the United States and the European Union. Peter also serves as an Augusta Technical College Foundation Trustee. His commitment to education and community is reflected in his leadership, both within Textron and in the broader Augusta community.
